What is the maximum pressure the pump will produce?

Canning jars can be vacuum sealed by this machine, I pump it to 20 PSI 25 psi seals a jar quite well, but it can go much further, I'm not sure how far, but 25 will do just fine. In a glass quart canning jar, I vacuum sealed shelled pecans and placed As well as a jar of shelled pecans, I also put them in the freezer without vacuum sealing them. A decade later, the vacuum sealed pecans were still crunchy and delicious, but the non-vacuum sealed ones were a little bland Rancidity set in once the vacuum seal was broken.

Would it be possible to test the warmth of and the air flow of the damper doors on my car? There is a damper in my car that isn't working. If I pull the hose, can I see if it opens and closes, then I will know it's an electrical problem?

Although I am not a mechanic, I had the opportunity to use a vacuum pump to locate a defective climate control vacuum reservoir many years ago on a Corvette. There should be vacuum in your vacuum reservoirs if you're able to locate them. Suppose they do, then you will have to install a selector, vacuum lines, blend door motor, linkage, and possibly even a climate control module (depending on the car). I wish you the best of

In stead of a rubber hose, would a plastic hose do? Contamination prevention is at the top of my mind. ?

What you're using the system for depends on what it is In cases where a pump is intended to be used for petroleum-related items or chemical systems, unless the hose is chemically resistant, that pump will impact your plastic hose. That pump I used for testing the fuel vapor leak in Automotive components such as common engine light on for small leaks or big leaks related to EIM. The rubber hose worked extremely well, but I never thought of trying it with the plastic hose, so I must learn how to do this on my own. Here is my answer. Hopefully it will help you. I wish you all the best!

What are JARES? What about goats? As a manufacturer/importer of precision automotive test equipment, Actron (see "Automotive" following his products) is listed as one of its product categories
5/5

It is not intended to seal canned goods, jars, or to milk barnyard animals with them.

In the box of your purchase, you should have found (a very brief) manual about autos. In case you did not, get in touch with your seller or Actron. The vacuum gun I bought is my first Actron model. The product worked perfectly when it came out of the wrap, so I gave it a 5-star rating. It has never happened to me that a vacuum gun did not work if it was new What's going to happen a few years down the road is another matter. The gauge was all I kept from an expensive metal model I destroyed for a competitor. It was rebuilt just a few years ago, and has since leaked every time I needed it most. I don't believe I used it to bleed brakes, since I cared for that unit. * * Brakes Despite the fact that this model lacks all the necessary attachments, they can be purchased. With hand-held vacuum guns, I never had luck bleeding brakes all I did was get biceps sore and damage the vacuum There might have been a problem with my filling, or I might have not held There is a possibility that they couldn't deal with high-pressure situations The brake system of a vintage muscle car with a lot of capacity. I'm not certain what cars they've been used on, but others have reported success with them. Clearly, this product has its advantage in terms of longevity, as it is simple to use. This product is made in China, and it appears cheap and basic next to its main competitor. However, that may be a good thing in this case (simple and straightforward construction). It will be interesting to see what happens.

In this article, we will show you how to preserve dried foods in canning jars

With the Actron CP7830 Hand Vacuum Pump, the Tilia FoodSaver Accessory Hose, and the FoodSaver Regular-Grip Vacuum, you have the ultimate combination. Sealer for mouth jars and other sealing devices These Wide-mouth Jar Sealer adapters are what I use to vacuum all the air out of jars that I've filled with fruits, veggies, jerky, grains, flour, rice and everything else you'd like to keep fresh and odor-free for months. Put the dried fruit in a jar and can it. A pressure of about 20psi should be sufficient.

This is a great Foodsaver product! My knowledge of how such a system would work in an automotive setting is limited
5/5

A video on YouTube showed how one of these pumps could be converted into a jar sealer to keep oils fresh for 20 years or more It is possible to store food for a long time. There is a connection on most Foodsavers where, instead of vacuum sealing their proprietary bags, one can use a special accessory to suction air out of canning jars/lids, thereby extending the shelf life of the food Storage of things such as rice and beans over the long term. When the Foodsaver does not work, or breaks, or when there is no electricity, what should be done? Pumps such as this are ideal for this purpose. This pump differs and the same pump that can be seen on YouTube in one important way Besides the pump, there are a variety of adapters and a rubber hose that come with it. An aquarium hose was used in the video, and it was sort of manhandled into the top of the jar sealer by the guy who made it. It turns out that the black rubber hose included here fits very nicely into one end of the Foodsaver clear accessory hose in order to create an incredibly long hose with both of them connected.

Another feature I truly love about this setup is that there is a gauge attached with the vacuum pressure indicated. One takes it to about 20/Hg for canning jars, which takes about a half minute of pumping time. When it has reached that point, simply touching the release button located under the gauge equalizes the pressure and the jar sealer accessory can be removed. The Foodsaver in the kitchen does have a convenient spot to pull down to seal one item, but it's on a shelf, so it's not always convenient. There is now a small, handy appliance that can be kept in a drawer and cater to that need. I find it extremely worthwhile to spend the money!.

Breaks easily and feels good
3/5

The plastic mighty mouse I had was broken, so I had to replace it The handle of a vacuum pump that was past its prime, probably over two decades old, recently broke. Because the product is made of metal, I anticipated it to be a solid product.

And it's holding up quite well. Thank you for your patience while I fixed it. A small clip attaches the handle to the rod at the top of the handle. As soon as I used this clip again, it fell off! Thanks to my good fortune, I was able to find it ten feet away and In the end, I put an additional quick tack weld over the clip to prevent it from popping off again, and now it works fine. Surely a heavier duty clip would work, but I don't want to constantly be fixing this since I use this several times a day in my role as a tech. this one does not hold up, I'll just buy another mighty vac for the extra money, but I was very worried about how easy it would break! EDIT

I've been using it for nearly 18 months and it's still working well. It has been dropped a few times and the clear plastic gauge cover has broken, but the pump and gauge still work fine. I have upgraded my rating to three stars (would be five stars if it weren't for having to repair a brand new product).

Failure is built into this system! Buy this product at your own risk
3/5

Failure is built into this system! Buy it. DO NOT buy it. In this design, there is a fundamental flaw You squeeze the handle and the plunger pulls back, and ALL that force is as a result of a single point - the handle. There is a tiny, flimsy rivet on the plunger shaft that holds the handle to the shaft. That is an egregious design flaw, and it must have been intentional, because a simple bar-code scanner would have solved it A standard device such as an and-pin would have been fine.

This is basic engineering 101. Even the stupidest idiot would have known My mind cannot comprehend how it was possible for it to have accidentally gone through a design and review process. As a result, we can conclude that it was built for failure. (A lot of people have noticed that rivets can fall off during pumping) It is only a matter of time before this happens. If you want to properly repair it, you have to weld a cap on. What kind of precision arc welder do you have A P is being used here. It's a pump and you need to stay away Spending money on this was totally unnecessary. If you don't use it often, you might be able to get a year or two out of it. The problem won't resolve itself in a hurry. Oh, and BTW, Amazon has a 30-day return policy. If you want your money back, you'll most likely be out of luck.

I've used it so far and it works well
4/5

As a hobby, I am doing some small to medium-sized carbon part vacuum infusion experiments. If I have to buy a pump, I did not want to spend too much on it. I thought I would give this one a shot. I really like it. The vacuum is pulled by at least 25 times in a row and held. I'm completely alone in this room. It gives you an exercise. (but is not the best for a small person or woman with small hands. )

I took one star off for the fact that the red padding on one handle was broken upon It requires just a bit of tape to wrap it, so it's not a big issue, but quality control should have noticed it.
