The adapters are made of solid brass and work great for connecting the refrigerant tap valve to the manifold gauge set's hose. Amazon was where I bought it. The thread sizes are accurate to the specifications.
The two for 1/4" flare female (r12/22) to male r134 (1/2" acme thread) were perfect, but the female ones that are supposed to screw onto the R134 style 1/2" acme threads are 5/16" sae flare size, not acme thread, while the other end is the correct male 1/4" acme thread.
Two of the adapters had threads that were badly cut, but I believe they could be salvaged with a little work. Two of the adapters work and fit well with good threads, despite having very sharp edges and metal fragments. If the threads are fixed, this is a good deal.
The threads on these adapters were of good quality and they looked great. Regrettably, the diameter depicted was too large. I placed two orders and received the same results both times. 392 vs. 360 My yellow jacket hoses were unable to be threaded on as a result of this. I ultimately decided to purchase the yellow jacket adapter.
It was exactly what I was looking for. It can convert R12 refrigerant tools and hoses to R134 refrigerant tools and vice versa.
Although these fittings appear to be in good condition, they were not suitable for my needs. I believe I will require a variety of thread sizes.
