Having now understood what has been deemed as purely a manufacturing defect, I am able to evaluate it more objectively

In the housing, there is a defect near the hole through which the mounting hook passes. The hole has been drilled too far into the block and has caused large amounts of refrigerated fluid to leak out. Cannot be used.

It's not a product I'd Two sets of those were replaced promptly with no problem after a hose burst in the first set and there was a leak at the sight glass in the second set
