Questions & Answers

What is the best way to get the Pontiac G6 to work?

Depending on the year of your Pontiac, does it fall between the Have you ever used a TPMS on your car? Check your owner's manual to find out what frequency is appropriate for your car if yes to both of these. You should be able to use it if it complies with the right frequency. I have a 2015 Sierra that uses 315 mhz, and my wife has a 2019 XT4 that uses 433 mhz. There was no problem with either GM vehicle.

Do you know if this works with Tireminder?

I hope you are doing well. God bless you. With this tool, you can check the TPMS system of your vehicle, which is the valve stem in the tire. If you rotate, replace your tire with a It is important to remember how to use this tool in order to relearn the new position of the TPMS/valve stem. Or, when you activate relearn on your vehicle, the DSFT Marker light on releases air pressure until you hear the horn. Repeat the process clockwise when the marker light comes on releases air pressure. After the next tire is completed, it is time for the last tire. Your vehicle may be like mine to activate relearn, you have to turn on the tool, place it on the tire near the valve stem, press the button until you hear the horn, and rotate until all coils are oiled. The tireminder system works just like a tire monitor, except that some are able to monitor up to 22 positions, including trailer tires attached to a tow vehicle. Valve stem caps equipped with batteries alert you when the tire pressure is low so you can add air to the tire. There is also a lot else to do. Please let me know if this was helpful.

There is no way for me to get this to work on a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. Having used it on a vehicle like this before, what was the experience? Thank you, sir?

I wish you all the best and God bless you. For 2011 C/S, I found out you need to turn the key to run position, set park brake, then press lock and unlock buttons on the remote. When the horn sounds, you know you're in tire relearning mode and turn the key back to drive position. You should release air pressure from the DFT until you hear the horn, then from the PFT until you hear the horn, next from the PRT until you hear the horn, and finally from the DRT till you hear the horn. After that, unhook the park brake and turn the key off. Make sure tire pressure is as prescribed by the manufacturer. Here's a YouTube video on how to re-teach the TPMS on a 2011 Chevy Silverado. I hope this helps you, Gee, so you don't need this tool

I am using this on a 2020 GM Silverado 2500 with no issues
5/5

The fog lights I purchased are for my 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. After installing aftermarket wheels, I have found that they are much more stable. My truck was supposed to have GM TPMS sensors that were programmed to work when installed by a tire shop. When I tried everything to get them to read, I didn't have any luck so I decided to try this program. Since it was so expensive, I was a little skeptical. Needless to say, the solution worked flawlessly. The four wheels could all be programmed in a minute or two.

This was a piece of Amazing! I just can't believe how cool this is! In the example above, I didn't know that rotating the wheels would mess up the TPM system telling where the sensors are
5/5

As I do, if you rotate your wheels yourself and do not reset your timing with a learning tool, this is what will happen. It is possible your LEFT FRONT tire was low and your system misclassified it as a RIGHT REAR, is that right? This is what I installed in my 2018 chevy traverse premier redline edition. On the menu, I first selected TPMs, then held down the steering wheel button (check symbol), and the horn beeped when the procedure had been completed, then I simply placed this tool next to the valve stem on the tire, and the check digits appeared. Hold down the button on the device the white round button and the horn will sound once when you stop. Go on to the next one and next listening for the beep that tells you to stop. The end wheel will beep twice, so you're done. Sequence is as follows front left to front right then front left to back right, then back left on the last step. In your car there is a time limit to complete it or you have to start all over again. Do it all in 5 minutes, not because of the device, but because it is a time limit. I'm happy to say it worked. With this tool, I can do this procedure with no problem every time I rotate my tires, which is around every 7500 miles. As a p. s. Basically you can use this kit for "General Motors" vehicles from a certain year to a certain year. Just read the information about the product and youre set! The kit does not include a battery, and it requires a 9-volt battery.

The method worked well after a tire rotation on my truck, but I had to figure out a few things first
5/5

Most of the “how to get in” videos I watched online didn't work for me. Older models are not compatible with the "learn mode". As soon as the ignition was turned on but without starting, I got to see the tire pressure screen on the Driver Information By pushing the "check" mark (center button on right set of steering wheel buttons) for about three seconds, the indicator will not appear I spent four seconds grading. Suddenly, the horn went off, and the info center displayed that the fire had re-started It can be used to learn. According to the rule, trains should go in the following order You may want to hold the tool and guide it around valve stem I had the most success pointing it directly at the valve or cap's top. You may have to wait a few seconds.

The software works well with a wide range of vehicle manufacturers
5/5

Technician for 15 years specializing in automotive repairs and maintenance. You can use it with multiple brands as long as you know the reset procedure. There is no reading to tell you if the battery in the sensor is low or anything of the kind. It's cheap and there are no frills. The system works, however. The scanner is kept in my vehicle and I use it whenever someone asks about their tire sensors. I also check the pressure after scanning the sensors.

I've used this on my 2007 Yukon Denali and have had no problems
5/5

As part of my new set of summer tires and rims, I purchased four brand new GM tire sensors that I verified at work were working. It no longer mattered to me now that I had to relearn the Yukon using The Let Air Out method at home, if it was okay. After getting the initial two quick horn beeps, I tried the Let Air Out method about five times before entering the house and looking online for a more affordable relearn tool.
Letting the air out did not even register one tire. The 999 pennies I spent on this tool were well worth it since I was able to completely relearn my tires in less than five minutes! Since I am a very happy customer, this tool is definitely worth much more than I paid for it!.

The C6 Corvette responded well to the application
5/5

When I had new tires installed, my tire installer got my wheels out of sync with my car (or maybe he didn't bother to do it at all). I adjusted a low tire in an incorrect manner, so I made things worse when one was low and one was high. It was easy to use this tool and obtain them in sync. The process was fast and effortless, and it worked the first time around.

The job is done with ease
4/5

The 2005 Tahoe was fitted with this kit. I didn't try to let air out of each tire until it honked then filled them all. The vehicle doesn't require an air compressor, but with nitrogen-filled tires I didn't want to use one. The tool made it really easy for me. I had all tires inflated to 0 psi before I left the shop. Although I was bummed, I drove it for a while and all the psi were perfect without any additional work. It's ideal if you rotate your tires to learn a new TPS a sensor needs to be replaced, then teach the TPM where each sensor is located. It's a little finicky how to hold the tool, but you're able to pick it up quickly. While holding it flat against the tire, I kept pressing the button and moved it around the sensor until the horn sounded, then I moved onto the next. As soon as I realized what I was doing the entire process took two or three minutes at.

Worked like a charm! A 2020 GMC Sierra is equipped with it and it works as advertised
5/5

The driver should be the first to be considered The right-hand side of the In order for the sensor antenna (black post on the end of the device) to be effective, it must be placed about 4 to 5 inches from the valve stem on the tire. The white button needs to be pressed. You must wait 4 or 5 seconds for your horn to chirp indicating that the TPMS computer system recognized the wheel data and saved it. If the sensing antenna does not pick up the signal the first time around, you may need to move it to the other side of the stem. Continue the process on the next wheel of the passenger vehicle clockwise Starting with the left front side, and finishing with the left rear On the rear side is the driver, followed by the passenger-side The rear side of the vehicle. The horn will sound twice when the last wheel is finished. You're done now!.
