I find this to be an interesting Having installed this bumper for several months, I can honestly say that I have not heard any noise from it. No. Is it hard like "weathered" rubber, no. I don't think it's soft, or like "mushy" rubber. Hope this In addition, I have also installed additional levellers to absorb most of the movement of my trailer as I maneuver

One of the original door bumps came off the 2020 Jayco trailer after I struck it with my arm as I walked by. I thought it was a bad design to have such hard bump stops on The originals were way harder than these, which I found on here. To match the set of two doors that I have, I purchased two of them. My trailer should have come with these instead of the ones I have now. Adding something you don't really think about as an upgrade is a good idea.
They will rot in a couple of years if they are left in the sun. The last one is still in good shape after two years of wrapping in electrical tape.
The wind finally shattered the old bumper on our front door one day after it got brittle. The stopper that comes with this kit is not as long as the original plastic one, but it is longer than the one that came with the kit. door stopper was mounted on the plastic door latch itself, so I glued the new one in exactly the There was just a slight cocking in the stopper because it is quite thick at the base There is some eye contact, but not enough to be able to tell. It helps the rubber bumper work better than the plastic one in that it gives a little bit more give when the door fully opens. As a result of this, I once broke the frame of my door window. It may prevent this if it happens again with the cushioned stop. As a bonus, I will no longer worry about denting my storage door frame when the plastic stopper hits it at high speed because there was a windstorm that blew the door away from me. It came with a replacement screw, so it was very easy to As of now, everything is going well. It is recommended.
The part was fast and simple to replace, taking a minute or so. It arrived on time along with a Phillips head screw that replaced the old, dry rotted original with a rusted screw. It is a simple and inexpensive replacement part that will prevent your door from slamming down on the side of your RV. I am updating I expected the rubber to last much longer, but boy was I wrong. It is now May 4th and the rubber has dry rotted, cracked and is about to collapse. Here's a quick fix you can rely on if you need it short-term.
Simple to install, this look is perfect for your home RV, camper, and trailer rubber door stops intended to replace worn, brittle and damaged ones There are worn out door stops that are no longer able to keep enough pressure against keep your door's open clasp to eliminate rattling when you enter.
Our JAYCO Jay Flight comes with a much better radio than what came stock. It was stiff and cracked off the original one way. Since this is a flexible bumper, in case you bump into it, it will not break off. It should have been the original equipment manufacturer.
It appears to be about 1/4" too short. It doesn't seem like it will hold up, and the screw that comes with it doesn't feel strong enough.
I have installed this on my new Montana High Country RV without a hitch and it's working perfectly.
