don't know was knocked down by a tire after falling off a bumper magnet.
My bumper (1986 pop-up) is where I put mine. To see if it would work, I took a refrigerator magnet and placed it in various locations throughout my camper. I hope this has been of assistance.

The wires were too short to allow for slack (for turning and attaching to the trailer), and the width was only about 4', leaving no room for positioning. Even after trying several adaptors for the hookup, the right light (blinker/brake) does not work at all. The magnetic base is very weak, and lights will not stay on unless full contact is made while stationary, much less while driving down the road, which is problematic because the base is round and most mounting locations are square/tubing. br>You'd be better off using a regular trailer lighting kit to rig up portable lights.
Before placing my order, I read the previous reviews. The magnetic base has been confirmed to be weak, and the lights may fall off when driving over bumps. As a safety precaution, I secured them with large zip ties. There are no problems, and the lights are in perfect working order.
The left socket appears to be faulty, and the lights appear to be of poor quality. The left turn signal would be ineffective. I was able to turn on the left light, and the bulb appears to be in good working order. The wires on the left socket are too thin and keep breaking off at the connector, so I believe it's faulty. The only good thing about these lights is that the magnets work well and keep them firmly attached to the jeep. I would not recommend this product; instead, spend the extra money on a better set of tail lights. You'll be glad you took the time to do so.
Except for the magnetic base, everything works perfectly. If you don't hit a bump, these should be fine, but if you do, you'll have to watch them shatter into a million pieces as you drag them behind you. Juggalos, on the other hand, have a better understanding of magnets than this corporation. Don't throw your money away.
It worked as expected, but make sure you secure them with tape. The magnets aren't very useful.
I'm not sure how well they stay on over long distances or in rough terrain, but they seem to work fine for what I'm using them for (towing a project car back and forth to the body shop at a top speed of 50 mph on mostly smooth roads). The only minor quibble I have is that the plug appears to be a little "off. " It's a challenge to get it all the way to the pigtail on my car.
We ziptied them on because we have a Smittybilt tubular bumper. Aside from that, they're fantastic!.
It's a simple process to install, and the brightness is excellent as well.
