Questions & Answers

What is the size of this chocolate bar?

April 2021 and received one chock (2 rubber triangles and one rope), which was not what I expected. As I ordered two in May 2021 and received two others, I now have three in total. This is strange.

What about 14" tires? Will they fit well?

Your reference to 14 inches of inner diameter implies you mean that. I believe it will work in that case. The width of your tire is 14 inches. So you need two per tire if you mean that.

What side of the horizontal rib do you put up on top of the smooth surface of the concrete floor?

Placing the smooth side on the concrete will help to prevent scratches. By gripping the tread of the tires, the horizontal ribs resemble a crinkled finger. This gives more grip as the chock is pushed downward.

Should the horizontal rib side of the floor be on the smooth side of the concrete floor?

A trailer may have a flat surface or a rough surface, depending on where it is parked. Surfaces such as concrete and asphalt with a smooth surface should be smooth side up. The ridges are carved out of loose or permeable surfaces, such as gravel, rock, dirt, and some sort of aggregate rough textured surfaces. In that case, the blocks will bite into the terrain and not slide around, as they do when their smooth side is facing up. When a mobile device is blocked, an immobile object is positioned between it and the device. If the immobile object moves, that block will no longer function as intended.

There is no such thing as rock and roll
5/5

The only way to go is with rubber chocks! It's rather heavy for their modest size, but they do the job very When you choke a trailer or a vehicle tire, you want to make sure it is not slippery from any angle. After all, you don't want to have an accident with your Whether you're walking on dirt or pavement, these slip-proof choks will keep you from slipping. For safety and in case they need to be carried around, the rear eyeblot is a convenient place to attach a length of rope for securing them together. This is a great idea, but get two sets of it! The only bad thing I can think of is that they cost a lot.

I can't stand the smell
4/5

I am ready for The tire stops I found here were while I was searching for some for my boat. There was a complaint about the smell that caught my eye. I do not mean to contradict you. A great deal at a great price. My conscience forbids me from lying. In addition to the smell factor, these were the ones I chose over others. My nose immediately picked up the scent from the box once it arrived. There is no denying its strength. When my wife walked through the front door, the mist of the smell covered her. I threw them outside so that she could enjoy the fresh air as she walked past. She walked in the door as soon as she got home, and I knew instantly that my evil plan had She expressed her feelings perfectly with her facial expression. In a quiet moment, I smiled under my breath and decided to put them There were no complaints regarding the work they did. As far as the smell is concerned, I would describe it as. A cross between rotten toe jam and the stink of road kill that has been lying on the side of the road for more than That's how nasty it is. Good news is that the smell is less offensive now that it has been outside for almost a week. I'm sure that you can still smell it if you put your nose to An item like this would be a great gag gift for someone who owns I liked it very much.

The quality of the chocolate is good
5/5

This is a good, simple set of five medium sized rubber chocks with a solid feel. After they are unboxed, they do have a molded rubber smell, but you just need to let them air out to get rid of it. A couple of pairs of tires weighed 6000 pounds. I bought them to test on the I bought another pair because I liked how well they performed. I have attached two other pictures to show how large they are. They aren't enormous, but big enough to chock RV tires in gradual slopes and should be able to hold other trailers or vehicles I have a 2018 F150 with this tire on the rear. A 275/55/R20 tire. The cords make it easier to remove them from the tire and to carry them. Below is the picture of how they arrived. I pretty much store them like this. The Anderson levelers in my crate let me store three pairs like this practically flat. This is a heavy load No matter how hollow the space is. It doesn't appear to be the case that these will be compressed by the trailer as it did the cheap yellow plastic ones we previously used. Pavement surfaces are grabbed by the rubber construction. Overall, a good value for the price.

You've done a great job
5/5

Non slip rubber and a low price were important to me because I rarely ever need them. Having a product that performs the task but is light weight and convenient to store ready for use is exactly what I was looking for. To prevent the car from rolling while I do the brake pad replacement, I tied a rope around the eyelets and hung them from a wall hook. It worked perfectly so that I could jack my car to replace the pads without concern for rolling. In the event the floor jack failed or slipped while I was working with the wheel off, I also found a 15 dollar wide footprint scissor jack that I could put under the axle.

I like how well it fits my utility trailer
5/5

I use it on my 26" wheels on the utility trailer. The price is reasonable enough to buy two sets (one for each side) to stabilize the trailer when it is As I just received them, I am unable to comment on Item - Eye- Bolts are a clever way to tie two objects together with nylon rope, thereby making them easy to maneuver and keeping them in one place.

Small vehicles are the perfect fit for this solution
5/5

Most of what is available is way too large for the special vehicle I use, so I needed a small set of chocks. I found this to be We ended up not using the eyebolts, but simply threaded a 1/4" rope through the hole in the back of the chock and knotted the end in the corner. Weight is saved and the bag holds well. The solution to the problem I have had for more than a year has been provided by you.

Your search has led you to these chocks
5/5

You don't have to settle for cheap plastic trailer chocks at your auto part store when you need heavy-duty ones that will stay in place. These ones will work fine. A rope is attached to the anchors and they are heavy enough to hold my boat, which weighs 4000 pounds.

I don't think it is worth the money if you have small tires
5/5

My only complaint is where the tire engages there is a lip in front of the tire and I can't engage at all. I bought them for a double waverunner trailer and the wheels just sit along the lip. I think they might work better for car tires.
