There is a fairly nice video on You Tube that walks through I recommend you give it a look
I am not sure if this will help, but the one I received was quite heavy and thick. If you want to buy it on amazon, you need to go to recpro's website. I bought it here because it was out of stock on their site and it was

Well, I'm not really sure, I gave this company 3 stars since I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Possibly the membrane I received was at the end of the roll, but just about half has half the thickness of what it should have. In the event of doubt, let me show you some photos. As soon as I installed the software, I found this out. It is obvious you can't return it, isn't it? After the second half of installing, we had to continue battling. Due to its thinness, major air pockets developed and, with that, there was an endless back and forth between peeling and reapplying. I am confident that the rubber will deteriorate relatively quickly since it is half the size and thickness of the real thing. As for reordering this product, I will pay closer attention in order to receive it if and when it becomes available. Hopefully, I learned a valuable lesson from the experience of not trusting any company wholeheartedly with their products.
It was a pleasure to purchase all the items as listed and they all arrived in excellent condition. The only suggestion I have is to use a more robust My order arrived in a very flimsy box for something with a rubber roof so heavy. In any case, I can't wait to get this on my 1975 Prowler tomorrow. The kit works great. *edit for product use*
It is quite high quality. There is one thing to be aware of, however A TYVEK SUIT IS REQUIRED! I'm in awe at that adhesive's strength. There's still skin left on my arms from where it soaked through my shirt. A week later, I'm still picking it off. Having said that, this was a great system to work with. An old aluminum roof covered with tar was completely removed, the ceiling joists were reinforced and a new plywood roof was installed in an eloquent manner. It went smoothly because I followed the instructions provided and watched the videos before applying the roof. It is a great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in replacing their.
For my 19' trailer, there is plenty of sealant in this kit. The material must be cut into 3' sections) or it will dry too quickly.
As of now, it works very well and is thick. Since I have had it on for a couple months now, I have not encountered any problems. The glue needs to be watched. It is not wise to sit it out as the videos suggest. The tacky nature of it quickly takes over. It is best to not do half a roof at a time. It should be done in 4' segments. By spreading it out, you can shift it easily to get rid of all the air. This roof will mean the world to you in the end.
Everything I needed for the installation is included with it. Our items met the specific qualifications we needed, and they were described as they should be. One thing about this material is that it is very Most likely you will be unable to do this by yourself if you try to do something with your RV. It is recommended that you get at least two or three people to assist.
It is made of a good material and it worked very Having a RV technician install it was very convenient for me. My install was not able to take advantage of enough glue or caking. Both of these items had to be purchased for the installation.
There is not much you will need to replace the roof material on your RV besides this kit. The fact that I had a lot of vents probably delayed the application of the lap sealer, so I had to buy more.
