Mine is a 2003 CRV, and I believe they are the same model and use the same part, so go ahead and buy it; there's nothing wrong with it.
The first-generation Pilot was produced until 2008, when it was replaced by the second-generation Pilot. The second generation (from 2009 to the present) 2015) were markedly different from the previous year. This cap fit my second generation, but I'm not sure if it would fit a first generation, i.e. Model year 2008 Try using the keywords "washer bottle cap" or "washer reservoir cap" to find a parts diagram for your model.
It should be a perfect fit because the body style in 2003 is identical to my wife's body style in 2006.
On a 2006 CR-V, I used it to replace the cap. It was a perfect fit. I believe it will work.
Selected User Reviews For Genuine Honda 38513-SB0-961 Windshield Washer Nozzle Cap
When I went to change the windshield wiper fluid after a decade of wear and tear, the original reservoir cap simply crumbled in my hand, and I searched for months without finding a replacement cap. In the meantime, I covered the reservoir opening with cling wrap and wire, which wasn't ideal but did the job. I found this cap about a week ago and immediately purchased it. I'm glad I took the opportunity to do so. It fit perfectly and performed just as well as the original cap. I'll be satisfied if I can get ten years out of it. As a result, it receives a five-star rating for being a perfect replacement and making filling the reservoir much easier. If there is any reason for me to change my mind, I will do so as soon as possible.
The item was delivered on time - A Genuine Honda Parts baggie labeled "X000S5O22F Genuine Honda 38513-X000S5O22F Genuine Honda 38513-X000S5O22F Genuine Honda 38513-X000S5O22F Genuine Honda 38513-" was packaged inside the mail SB0- shield Washer Nozzle Cap" is a brand new shield washer and nozzle cap. The item was absolutely perfect for my 2010 Honda Fit Sport, including the small retention loop that goes over the reservoir body's hook. There was nothing more I could ask for! br>br>By the way - Every time you have your vehicle serviced, I strongly advise you to look under the hood - With time, especially in hot climates, these plastic caps can become brittle. When the mechanic goes to top off your fluids, the cap retainer loop breaks, the cap falls down into the engine compartment and is difficult to reach, and the mechanic will just leave it like that, and you will notice his laziness the next time you open your hood. This isn't the first time it's happened to me - During my part-time search, I came across a lot of other people who had the same misfortune as me. If this happens, the remaining wiper fluid will also evaporate quickly. Joy. At the very least, it's a quick and inexpensive solution. Thank you so much, Amazon!.
My 2009 Honda Fit Sport's washer fluid cap was missing, not only because it wasn't snapped on, but also because the small retainer strip had broken and the entire cap had vanished. The retainer strip was down to its last inch or so, and the plastic had become brittle. I'm guessing it was broken during an oil change and no one told me, but I have no way of knowing for sure. It was simple to put the new cap on. However, the design is quite flimsy, so I'm not surprised it broke. As a result, I've deducted one star. I'm the original owner, and this is the very first thing to go wrong with my Fit. I've discovered the weakest link in the chain. The washer fluid cap is the source of the problem.
This was purchased to replace a cap on my 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L that had been lost. I bought this knowing it wasn't an exact match for the part I needed for my vehicle, but I figured it would suffice. On Amazon, the exact replacement cap would have cost me $20 instead of $9 (which, in my opinion, is still ridiculous). I'm fairly confident that the cap will stay on because it fits snugly around the reservoir's mouth. The price for such a small piece of plastic is the only reason I didn't give it five stars.
I bought this for my 2006 S2000 because the old one had become brittle and cracked. Although this is the correct shape and size, the old cap was connected directly to the dipstick inside the reservoir, ensuring that it would not be lost when the cap was removed. That option is not available with this cap. Instead, I took a bolt out of the fender and used it to anchor it. It works, but it isn't OEM for the S2k for those who prefer it. br>br>Also keep in mind that the bolt you'll be using is small and easy to lose, so make sure you use something magnetic.
I didn't order this product at first because Amazon kept telling me it wouldn't fit in my vehicle. Then Amazon asked for a review, which I declined because I had never ordered this item. On the same day, it was inadvertently added to my other order. This product was ordered by chance because it was tacked on to a coconut oil order. IT DID FIT MY CAR WHEN IT ARIVED TODAY! br>br>I'm not sure what's up with Amazon, but they seem to think I ordered it before when they said it wouldn't fit my car, and then I get the washer cap because it was inadvertently tacked onto another order, and it fits. Even so, it turned out to be a wise decision.
It appears to be an exact match OEM part (including color, which I forgot about until I saw a small piece of the original [the loop part that hooks onto the tank]). My Honda dealer's parts/service department informed me that I would not be able to obtain one of these, as they only sold the entire tank with cap as a unit. This was, without a doubt, a lot less expensive.
My Honda CRV's windshield washer reservoir cap was lost because it had to be snapped down tightly. I was hesitant to go to a Honda dealership to purchase one because I was afraid it would be one of those absurd situations where they wanted to charge an arm and a leg for something as insignificant as a milk bottle cap. This one was reasonably priced and perfectly suited the reservoir tank.
