I think these are the quietest windshield wipers I've ever owned. Even when the rain stops and they continue to drive, they simply wipe the windshield without making any noise, and they also come with replacement rubber strips! I recall how, instead of replacing the wiper arm, you would simply replace the strip that rubs against the windshield, which was inexpensive. Now that we're expected to spend a lot of money and waste a lot of material to replace the entire thing every time, having this set that allows me to just replace the strip is a huge relief. They've become my go-to items. to the wipers I'm glad Amazon reminded me to write a review because it reminded me that I need to get one of these to replace my rear wiper.
These wiper blades have left me very impressed. I've only had them for a little over a week, but they've provided streak-free, clear wipes through two snow storms and one heavy rain day. Installing the blades is simple, and extra blades are provided for free. There's no way you can go wrong with these.
This set of wiper blades and refills is compatible with my 2019 Acura RDX. In comparison to Mitsuba's factory OEM blade, the blade plastic is a little softer. The s hook on these blades is protected by a cap, which is great for protecting it from the elements. It's a plus that there are refills. Those who have a Honda/Acura factory blade should exercise caution. The end caps are permanently attached and cannot be removed. Simply remove the old rubber and replace it with the new one. I've never made a switch that was so simple. out. These blades appear to be well-made. (I haven't had to use them yet) The blade holder is a great size. It went well with the appearance of my Jeep. I simply needed new wiper blades, but because I live in Southern California, I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on them because I rarely use them. I didn't have high expectations for these, but they are by far the best blades I've ever used. It cleans my windshield without streaking and doesn't make that awful noise when I turn on my wipers when it's dry. They haven't skipped, popped, or done the hippity hop dance like other wiper blades have, and I'm very impressed with them; I'm actually using my windshield washer more now because these blades work so well. I had no idea my windshield could clean itself as well as these blades do.
For the time being, the price is reasonable, installation was simple, and my initial impression of how well they work is that they perform admirably. br>br>I like that they have a replacement rubber blade for when the originals wear out, but I'll be interested to see how well the replacement rubber blade stays in the wiper fixture. br>br>I'll return and rewrite it. In 3 months, when I have a better idea of their long-term viability, I will re-evaluate these. As I previously stated, THAT will be the determining factor in whether or not these are a good buy.
I was concerned about the locking mechanism because it did not appear to be secure. I'm hoping they don't come loose while I'm using them.
This is what we put on our 2018 Malibu, and it works perfectly. We'd been using Michelin windshield wipers for over a year and decided to try something a little less expensive this time; they work great, don't streak, and don't squeak on the windshield. When I need a new set, I'll buy these again.
