The passenger side looks like this, but the driver's side looks different. Both sides have a similar appearance, but the driver's side has a more pronounced bend at the end.

In the middle of my wiper stroke, there was a void. I replaced the blades, but the problem only improved slightly. Over the course of 16 years, the arms' springs had weakened. This arm is completely covered. The only issue is that, unlike other suspension parts I've purchased, the site does not specify which side the arm should be used on. They're not the same. The arm 42534 is for the passenger, while the arm 42533 is for the driver. You won't be able to find this information unless you go to Dorman 42534 or 42533 and use another site to find the correct side.

The springs improved the arm's connection to the windshield, which was my first observation. I'd suggest it. It wipes clean as if it were new.

I bought these arms after replacing several sets of inserts and restoring a fully wiping system to its original condition. It was an excellent purchase that was simple to set up.

For over a year, I've had a problem with my wipers leaving a gap between the blade and the window, which happened to be right in front of my eyes. I tried swapping the driver's arm for the passenger's, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Driving in bad weather became extremely inconvenient. I finally got both arms replaced, and they're fantastic. They have the same appearance as the originals and are extremely secure. I'm pleased with myself.
