You would certainly enjoy it. Two I own, one with a 50 horsepower Johnson and the other with a 25 horsepower Evinrude, both of which are They both attach to the wall with clamps. By using the adapter, clamp on motors can be used instead of bolt on motors. In the absence of the adapter, there is nowhere to clamp. These work very well, by the way. The 130 horsepower version is available in case I would like to change to a larger horsepower motor! It is also much heavier duty.

Having it on hand will aid in mounting a clamp-on the Yamaha 20, it was so thin that I also had to add a shim to allow it to clamp well. Please accept my sincere apologies for my lack of knowledge.

A new Suzuki 25 I picked up has a clamp-on transom mount, as well as what I assume is a nonstandard mounting It would set way too low if I used clamps and then drilled and bolted the lower mounting holes, and even if I used the clamps and then bolted the lower mounting holes, nothing lined up bolt-wise. It's great that this adaptor is on CMC's site before I reinvent the wheel. Though the description seemed a bit vague, it looked as if it could In the end, Amazon had it stocked and was offering it as Prime. I checked it out knowing I could send it back if it didn't work. Besides raising the engine by a lot, the engine mount is very sturdy, and I'm sure that it will last a long time. I don't know why a description states that it only weighs 2 pounds when it does more than double that. Mounting hardware is made of stainless steel and measures 1/2 in. The fact that I didn't try to jury rig my way to this is much appreciated.

The clamps ran out of thread before I was able to tighten them. I had to use a 5/8" shim to mount them.
At a good price, this is a great product.
