Activate the electrical plugs and disconnect the drive shafts. Remove the drive shaft and linkage. Replace the seal then reverse the procedure.

You only need to turn it the right way, and everything fits perfectly

Used it on a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 with a 5. 25. The length of a 3L is exact. Most of the negative reviewers on here don't realize you have to turn the gasket the right way in order to line up the holes. hole spacing on the board is not the same distance apart. Just turn it the right way and everything will be fine.

OEM is the only way to go! You cannot substitute for this! My experience with the gaskets that come in the kits were far inferior to this one
