Is this a full locker with spider gears included?

It's more of a positraction system (friction discs) than a full-fledged locker. Yes, there are gears inside this carrier, as shown in the photo. You'll use your ring and pinion gear unless they're worn or chipped, in which case you'll need to replace them.

Is it necessary to purchase new bearings, or does it come with them?

You'll need to get some bearings.

I'm unable to locate an Eaton TrueTrac or Posi (limited slip) differential for my 2014 GMC 1500 cargo van, which has a 5. 3 different types of fuel. Is there anything that will fit a 2014 Chevy or GMC 1500 van?

Make an appointment with an Eaton service technician. You can obtain the number from the website; however, they may not show your specific year of vehicle, but they will still calculate a differential for your application. They seem to end at 2012, but that could just mean that GM hasn't changed their axles since then. For example, I have a 1995 Tahoe, and the Eaton posi I bought fits 89-93 Tahoes. In the year 2000, there were a lot of different types of vehicles. So make a call to them.

I went out and purchased a different brand that was less expensive. in addition to being completely dissatisfied He moans a great deal. Is there any noise from this unit?

Since installing one in 1997, the K1500 has been trouble-free for the past five years, with no noticeable noise.

For decades, this book has been a best seller. During the Mussel Car era, Eaton was a fixture. It runs just as well in my new 1989 C2500 truck as it did 47 years ago in a 1970 SS 454 El Camino. Why would you choose anything other than Eaton Posi?.

For my application, this is the best "friction" type posi. This part number was purchased because it has the side gears for 30 spline axles, which is a plus one over a cone type posi.

So far, everything has gone well. Instead of the weighted governor style posi, the factory limited slip carrier uses larger Ford nine inch bearings and four springs.
