The tool was meant to be a backup to one I already have. I expected it to be of lesser quality because of its $50 price. But I did not expect it to be worthless and not even worth being given away in a This is junk. Purchase this item at your own risk. You can purchase a better one for 20 more dollars.
That tool is terrible, and it is overpriced. The reverse spring cage in the bottom of the case is the only one that it can manipulate, and it does a poor job of that. As it stands, you are wasting money on something that will not produce much value. If you made a few modifications to the tool, you could use it with all the spring cages, but as it is it It's not worth the price to buy this tool when there are far better ones available for lower prices. Another option would be to use a piece of flat steel and a rod threaded with screws.
While this is an excellent tool, it has a very limited use, as it can only be used one place, and it is also quite expensive. It was necessary to build a spring compressor so it would work on several other clutch assemblies in the transmission and it also worked at the same place as this one. I wish I had saved the money in hindsight. If you are not in the business of rebuilding tyrannies, then no point in investing.
All is well. However, the quality is not good enough to be considered equal to something that costs $50, but I am glad I was able to get it from Amazon for a cheap price.
This worked like a charm, but I can make an exact one for a much lower price. It is well made. The piece is of high quality.
I am very happy with the product!.
I didn't think it would fit exactly, but seller was prompt in getting it to me. The only thing bad I can say is that nothing bad happened.
