The out put shafts of the Th350, Th250, Powerglide, Th375, 700r4, and 4L60, 4L60e, and 4L65e are all equal in size. A transfer case with a larger output shaft has a th400, 4l80e, and some 4l80e.
There is no information available about the output shaft size for the TF 727, but if it's similar to the one on my TH400, it should fit.
It does not make sense to ask that question. Devices such as this one are supposed to prevent leaks out of the tailshaft, which is what it does if the tailshaft seal It is usually possible to drain the transmission fluid from the pan drain plug if you want to do so. Take the transmission by the front and, if you want fluid to flow from the tailshaft, pick it up. Quarts of fluid will spread out over whatever surface the transmission is sitting

(As a side ) I find it to be much more fun to use a big red butt plug.
In a nutshell, I used this product when I switched the engine and trans on my LS. The trans fluid was not drained and no spills were observed during removal of the trans as a whole unit. To keep the zip ties in place, I used zip ties. I am just waiting for a second vehicle to be able to put it in. It was definitely worth the money, and I wish I had bought two because I had to rig up the 4L60 I installed and it spilled quite a bit at the beginning.
When I needed to tow my vehicle across several states and a flatbed was not an option, I used this as a solution. I had to disconnect my driveshaft since leaving the car in neutral while towing is bad for the transmission. As a result, I did not have to drain my transmission and the fluid did not leak. Upon reaching my destination, the driveshaft was installed and I was ready to go without having to worry about refueling.
A quick and easy tool that can be used to stop the mess that is caused when removing a driveshaft and needing to remove the transmission and/or engine without draining the fluids. Even though I think it is a bit pricey for what it is, I would buy it again.
The pros are The seal looked to fit snugly against the tailshaft of the 200R4 transmission. I have not worked with the transmission much in order to be able to say whether the oil leaks stopped. In addition to protecting the splines on the output shaft, it also keeps out dirt.
Cons I just got a bill for double the price! Getting it for 6 dollars was not too difficult. Now they're 14 dollars! I came back for another pair and found they were 14 dollars! As much as I hate it when Amazon raises the price of items that have received good reviews, it is still a problem. It urges me to give one star reviews on everything I buy just to keep the price.
It's one of my favorite products. I've purchased at least two or three of them. The only thing left to say about him is that. Make sure your tranny is plugged in.
The system seems to be working fine. After draining the transmission fluid and removing the driveshaft, I put the plug in to guarantee there are no leaks even with the rear going My initial doubts were unfounded, but it does work.
It is amazing how well this product worked I removed my turbo 400 transmission from my 1968 Camaro and put it in my 1967 Camaro and it didn't leak once. I would suggest using some zip ties just as an insurance policy. I would definitely recommend this product.
