Here's a tool you'll need to make your 2007 Ford F-series work Using the 150 4 X 4 and 5 will provide excellent performance
5/5

Engine Size 4 Litre Triton! It is required for the new radiator installation. In order to disconnect the transmission on a 2006 Ford F-150, I used the OTC 6593 Transmission Disconnect 3/8 (the smaller plastic tool). The Triton V8 5. 150 XL 4 X 4 is powered by the 150 XL. A radiator is connected to two transmission lines from the 4 Liter engine. Two of them on both sides of the driver. I slipped the tool around the 3/8" tubing on the upper line and in about 30 seconds after pushing it in as I turned it, I was able to pull the line out. Although the bottom one took about 45 minutes, I also took a lot of notes. Although I tried my best, I was unable to make it Taking the tool out, I sprayed some Liquid Wrench all around the tube and then tried to tighten it. I still don't think it's When I heard an audible click, I backed the plastic out and then pushed it back in. I continued working on it until the plastic became unstuck. After removing the line from the radiator, I was able to begin installing the new one. Once everything was disconnected, I pulled the fan shroud off the radiator without removing it. A tool like this would not have allowed me to accomplish the task! It was a difficult job I had to do thanks to Ford!.

The 2008 Ford F-150 is compatible with this kit In the case of 2008 Ford F-150 There are 150 fluid lines in the transmission that work It doesn't matter that they are plastic and somewhat pricey as they saved my bacon nonetheless
5/5

Rather than figuring out how to disconnect the line, I spent the first half of the day going to parts houses to find the right tool, then the rest of the time trying to pick out the problem. It is nice and simple to use since the product snaps around that stupid flange on the line. I find it amazing how something that seems so simple can be so difficult without some kind of plan. Plastic is just cheap ole'.

The OTC 6593 transmission is not available Under ideal conditions, I would believe that this tool would work under new lines with new fittings, as others have suggested
3/5

Regardless, when trying to remove the oil cooler lines from the large fitting nut with the plastic OTC 6593 Transmission Line Disconnect Tool, I could not separate them from the large fitting nut. The Assenmacher Specialty Tools 8023 Oil Cooler Line Disconnect Tool that I purchased from Amazon was recommended to me by an Aamco mechanic. In some respects, it performed the job, but the tool was damaged. It is time for Ford engineers who devised this design to be double slapped once for each.

I was not able to use it
3/5

I gave it two stars because they are OTC tools. Usually OTC tools work well, but this one is different. The transmission cooler lines came with these. I purchased them in order to replace the radiator on a 2008 Explorer. I was not able to get them to work. They are not deep or strong enough, according to me. This line would not release. I had to remove the fittings and use a Dremel to cut through. I don't know how durable it will be.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU BUY IT IF YOU SEARCHED FOR IT
5/5

After 6 hours of trying to disconnect my 5 from the plumbing, I finally succeeded in doing so. The triton's radiators were all broken up before I bought this one. For your information * Please note that NAPA, AutoZone, is a trademark of NAPA The tool was not in their inventory and could not be found by either one of them. The only way to get one is through Ford or via the internet. After opening the box, I was able to remove the hoses and remove the unit from the truck within 10 minutes. The money is worth it to spare yourself the trouble of trying different tools and cursing yourself for having no idea what you're supposed to do.

This is the only option! There are two lines for a cooler on a 2008 Ford F150
5/5

When it comes to removing 2004-, nothing works as well as this the first time. Lines in the transmission cooler of an 2008 F150. The flared lip on the lip of the handheld transmission disconnect wrench prevents it from working. I was able to easily disconnect the lines from the aux cooler using these connectors.

The 2008 Ford Explorer is not compatible with this version
3/5

The transmission cooling line of the 2008 Ford Explorer is not compatible with this part. In fact, the tool simply snaps into place, but it does nothing to remove the fitting. Our only option was to use an electric saw to remove the fittings. There is very little plastic in these and they don't look as sturdy as the picture suggests. Instead of wasting hours searching for a metal tool designed specifically for the Ford Explorer 2008, find one made of metal.
