Questions & Answers
Yes. A few months ago, I put one on an Icon tank. The sensor screws are the same size as the ring terminals on the monitor wires.
For black, grey, and fresh water levels, it's a fairly simple connection. It should work if the size is correct.
It comes with the panel as well as three short harnesses. There are no sensors, and there isn't enough wiring to reach any of the tanks.
There are no sensors in this kit.

It was installed in a new trailer I'm building and hasn't seen much use yet, so some installation instructions would have been helpful. I didn't need the fresh water level indicator, and no one would ever trust the battery indicator, but it appears to work now that it's installed. I'd give it an extra star if it lasted a long time. br>br>FYI, these are the connections I used. br>br>Tank probesbr>White – Groundbr>Yellow – 1/3 fullbr>Green – 2/3 fullbr>Orange – Fullbr>Monitor connectionsbr>Fat white – Ground (for pump switch light)br>Fat red – 12V br>Fat gray/green – 12V to pumpbr>Fine gray/green – 12V to pumpbr>Fine brown/.
I haven't had the opportunity to install it yet, but based on first impressions, it appears to be about what you'd expect for under $40. It appears to function properly and appears to be of good quality, but it is made of very low-cost plastic, and the pre-installed components are not in good working order. The pump switch that was installed does not even hold itself against the unit's face. It pops out of the hole when you barely touch it. My other complaint so far is the wiring. I can glue it in with RTV or something similar, but I shouldn't have to with a brand new product. Why color-coded sensors when this unit comes with standard sensor attachments made by the same manufacturer for use with this (and similar) products? If you're not going to include a diagram or instructions, why not code the controller wires in a completely different color than the sensors? I can figure it out on my own, but I shouldn't have to. I'll give it four stars as long as it works because, as I mentioned before, I knew not to expect top quality at a low price when I ordered.
I liked how small it was and how well it fit in small spaces. My old systems were built in the 1950s. I was able to integrate it into my existing control panel, and it worked perfectly. I only used a portion of it, which is nice; however, I had to use Google to find the wiring diagram, which I printed out and filed away in my user manual for future reference. It's simple to set up once you've seen it. Just a word of caution: double-check that your tank is connected to the sensor before assuming it isn't working.
I attached the wires to the tank exactly as instructed, and I also attached the wires to the main unit exactly as instructed. Because I only have a Grey and Black tank, I don't use the water pump or fresh water. When the tanks were empty, all of the lights turned on after everything was installed - The tanks are full, as indicated by this symbol. Unfortunately, I did not thoroughly test the connections prior to installing the tanks, making troubleshooting this issue extremely difficult. br>br>There's a chance I wired it incorrectly, but I double-checked to make sure everything was wired and attached according to the instructions. The monitor panel in our 2005 Wildwood RV was a perfect match. Our original OEM micro Monitor panel's gray water LED failed, so I ordered this one to replace it. It's a direct replacement, so it's simple to set up. br>br>It's also a great price because it includes EVERYTHING you'll need to build this from the ground up, including wiring harnesses and other components; all we needed was the center snap-on. We were ecstatic to find that it was a perfect fit for our older unit on the circuit board. br>br>The older board simply pops out, leaving a red Molex-style connector behind. It was literally a 30-second job. br>br>In fact, the only "con" is that the new unit's face has gray ovals for the buttons, which are more difficult to read, whereas my original unit (circa 2005-2006) had black ovals for the buttons, which were easier to read. The lettering was easier to read on the 2006 version, which had white oval buttons. To read the buttons, you must lean in close to the device, but this is a minor design flaw.
I only needed the circuit board, but the grey buttons appealed to me, so I left the faceplate in place. All of my tank monitors were up and running again in less than 30 seconds. That is something I cannot complain about. It's probably the simplest repair I've ever done on a camper, or anything else for that matter. It didn't even require the use of a screwdriver. It works perfectly; now I just need to clean the black tank, which is showing as full, but Amazon has you covered there as well. I couldn't be more pleased.
I was doing a complete trailer remod and this came in a pink bag with no instructions, which I should have known about. I finally got around to installing this POS and the pump switch is non-functional. KISS THAT 58 BUCKS GOODBYE! op, return window closed, KISS THAT 58 BUCKS GOODBYE! BUY FROM THIS VENDOR AT YOUR RISK! br>FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS! IF I COULD, I WOULD GIVE IT LESS THAN ONE STAR!.
I was not able to make this work. This was supposed to be an upgrade, but it didn't work in my trailer because it wasn't the same as the picture on the website. There are far too many extra wires in this situation. In the wall, there is no room. I didn't even try to put it together. Had to pay for shipping back to vendor as well as 20% restocking fee as well as 20% restocking fee as well as a 20% restocking fee as well I would not be writing this if they had sent me the one depicted on line. In the future, I will not purchase from this vendor.
