That does not cause the clutch to lock up. The fluid pressure is presumably used to assist the transmission shift. I'm not sure exactly why, but I think it's for fluid pressure.

This product was better than those at the auto part store, and it worked well.
I replaced my old solenoid as it should have been. This is an easy-to-install product. The product is excellent. I would buy it.
I installed this solenoid in my daughter's 2000 S10 Blazer and it worked perfectly. Changing the harness is way cheaper than replacing it entirely.
Price was great and it worked out well.
That was exactly what I was looking for. Good condition came in a box.
The item met my needs without any problems. I would order again in the future.
However, it did fit perfectly, since it did not appear to be the same one I pulled out of my transmission (4L60e). Since I didn't get the car until recently, I'm not sure if it was changed before I got it. My suspicion is that I will find out once the engine has been rebuilt and is.
