Yes, it continues to function flawlessly. The customer for whom I built the transmission was extremely happy with it. It's a simple kit to put together, and it comes with clear instructions.
It is conceivable. We installed the kit to fix a problem with a missed shift. Also, make sure the separator plate is in good working order. Ours had a ball check jammed in the plate, necessitating the purchase of a new plate.
Any 4l60e should be able to accommodate it. This is an excellent set.

The instructions are not very clear, but if you pay attention you can finish it. It also recommends that you upgrade your servos to metal ones if you have plastic ones, so you might as well do that at the same time. I didn't because it said so in the instructions, and we already had it apart, but it shifts very hard into second with the Corvette servo, and this kit barks the tires on my 5500 tahoe.
Not for the faint of heart; read the instructions before proceeding; shifts are fantastic.
