IT DID FIT, BUT >>INSTALLATION WAS A HORRIBLY HORRIBLY HORRIBLY HORRIBLY HORRIBLY HORRIBLE P The lower portion, which is supposed to seal the oil pan, is nearly impossible to install without using a pair of side cutters to trim the ends

WHAT WERE THE THOUGHTS OF GENERAL MOTORS WHEN THEY DESIGNED THIS? I'M SURE IT WAS HIGHER THAN A KITE.

Superb craftsmanship! It's a genuine General Motors product, so you know it's good

New bolts and seal are included in the package. They even greased the seal so it would be easier to install. OEM can't be beat on price! On a 1996 Chevy K1500, this was installed. Vortec engine with a displacement of 7 liters.

It was a good investment

There are no leaks in this product, which is fantastic. It is simple to set up. While I was at it, I replaced the timing chain. There are no more puddles.
