Are these required if your hubs are manual?

Because you don't have vacuum hubs, these are more of a water and dirt seal; when I did mine (manual hubs), I simply cleaned everything up and re-installed it. It was the perfect fit
5/5

On my 2006 F250 SD 4x4's hub, it fit perfectly. The old one was removed, the groove was cleaned, the groove was oiled, and the new one was easily slipped on. There are no vacuum leaks to be concerned about.

ring. This isn't the first time I've seen this. On a Dana 60, this ring is used in the hub assembly. I'm not sure what it is, but it's a fraction of the size of the actual o- ring. You can get it in, but you'll have to stretch it out quite a bit. All you have to do is contact a Ford dealer.
