Questions & Answers

Could you please tell me if this is appropriate for an RO system in my basement that feeds water into my refrigerator to provide ice?

I'm sorry, but I cannot answer that question. To replace the pump on my Tennent carpet extractor, I purchased this product.

The internal switch is faulty, but here's what you can do
3/5

I have updated It is possible to make this pump operate to get higher RO water pressures in a two-tank RO system or you can purchase one without a Then, take the following actions I have been using this pump for 2 RO machines, one for commercial use and one for my home system to get higher pressures. The pump was installed between two RO tanks and a check valve before the pump, and the internal switch became erratic in both systems. After a while, the system went on and off rapidly, as other reviewers have indicated, and it had difficulty shutting off completely. In response to my contact with the manufacturer, a new pump was sent to me. I could not get it to work For well pumps, I gave up on it and have resorted to something I've used for years - a pressure regulator Well, it's okay to go to a hardware store. A pump switch can be used to replace a faulty internal switch . By inserting the Allen screw on the head of the pump into the internal switch, I turned it up so that it would no longer shut itself off (set to shut off at a higher pressure than I intended to pump at). The measurements were not taken by me. It just took me about two turns to turn 1) The switch for the pump is wired between the 120V power line Connect the RO line to the 1/4" plastic tube after your 1st tank that is being inflated by your RO system, after your check valve, and either before or after your pressure tank to connect it to the newly installed pressure switch for the well pump. There are many types of well pump switches, including ones with different settings for turning on and off, as well as ones with varying The Ace Hardware at my local mall offered three options, and I selected a 30-inch flat panel In the range of 50. There will be a second round. My 5" inline pressure gauge has been set to turn your pressure up to 35psi with the knob The pump at home is capable of pumping up to 31 psi with a pre-pumping air pressure of 7 psi An increase in bladder load - A tank that has not been filled. a change to the high pressure RO tank since you will be setting the well pump pressure switch to shut off at around 50 to 60 psi. The weight of the dog is 55 pounds. The water should be drained and the air pressure should be adjusted Increase the load to a maximum of 5 We recommend that you use a pressure 10 psi lower than what your RO system is capable of pressurizing without any additional pumps. A gauge is required, of course, to determine what is happening. There are around 28 for sale on Amazon. If you wish to check the product, simply turn off the booster pump and let your RO system run until it shuts down. As of now, the system is working perfectly with great pressure both at the sink dispenser and in One thing I forgot to mention in the original review is that to get much better flow at your sink or refrigerator simply run 3/8 plastic line rather than 1/4 inches (which is standard) to just before the faucet or refrigerator, then step down to 1/4 inches using a push-button. The result of all reduction fittings (I use Watts or John Guest quick connect (QC) fittings. If you don't use a separate pump, the flow will be about 30% better. In either case, you will have to buy 1/4FPT X 3/8QC (FPT= Female Pipe Thread, QC= Quick Connect) tank shutoffs, otherwise the purpose of the larger lines will be defeated. Both of the 3/8 lines and the booster pump can be set to shut off approximately 55 pounds to fill your glass of water at the fridge in about half the time and the coffee pot at the sink in less than half the time since it has less 1/4" line to pass through than the refrigerator. I wish you all the best in your handyman activities. It simply does not apply any longer, and this system is now working perfectly well, so I'm deleting the old review.
