Among the bearings, some were NSK, some were NTN, some were TIMKEN, and some were KOYO. I will not be using either of the two because, given that they move side to side, I think it will prematurely wear out. As for rolling them, they also didn't feel good to me. Even so, NSK,NTN, and TIMKEN bearings are exceptional. They run like a dream. It would be better if you bought a better set. The whole thing doesn't excite me much. The quality of my clothes could have been better with more money spent. Still, the seals seem to be doing well so far.
There is no way this can be a master rebuild kit. It should be sold as a bearing kit This kit seals the hole in the fly. The bearings, except for one which is an NSK, are all about as cheap as you can get a china made bearing from a Chinese shop. I made a big mistake and it cost me a lot As far as Crown products go, I believe this will be the last one I purchase.
My 1999 Jeep Wrangler transfer case is equipped with everything I need.
The money was very well spent. The quality is excellent.
The function worked as expected. I was able to use it with my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee without any problems. There were some extra parts left over, so it would be better to buy one kit and have it fit all than order a kit that might not function.
It was my hope they would fit, but no points were deducted from this kit.
It took the company some time to clear up the confusion at first. Having everything I needed as well as a few extras was in this kit.
