Most early model flywheels use metric, although there are some later models with both sae and metric measurements. You would need 5/16 bolts if you have 0 50 oz of imbalance.

These bolts are in metric measurements. It was an OEM 1990 engine flywheel that I replaced the clutch and installed new bolts on. I have never had a problem with them.
