To replace the Original I chose to rebuild it instead of just rebuilding While there were a few good options, there was quite a price difference between them. The unit is made up of a single piece and does a fantastic job. It almost fits perfectly in the 1976. It is so close to the body work that it grazes the knuckles when the filler cap is Despite this, the product does what it is supposed to do at a reasonable price, and the size is such that it can be slid into a break system without being impacted. There was a little play in the clutch pedal after it was installed, but it was resolved with some minor adjustments. I'd purchase from this company again, but frankly, I don't have any desire to.
The product is as described. It is an aftermarket clutch master cylinder replacement The original one on my 72 B failed, and I had to replace it, and I'm happy to say the replacement product works just as In this case, I chose this model since I do not want to pay 5x as much for the OE style as I am interested in the functionality. I have only one issue with it the reservoir and fill cap are wider than the one on the OE master cylinder, so it is extremely difficult to remove the cap because it rubs against it. As a result, a star is lost.
The quality is great, works well, the reservoir is a little smaller than others so while bleeding you have to keep an eye on it, but I use the car every day and have not had a single problem since installing this a few months ago. The price is also I would recommend it in a heartbeat.
I love how well it fits. This reservoir has a small capacity, so keep it filled!.
The product was exactly the same as those sold by Moss.
There is only one comment, which is that the clutch slave cylinder reservoir is rather small, so it is important to be careful when bleeding it so you do not run out of fluid and end up with air in it.
It appears the top cap on the unit does not fit like it should, even though the product is described as such in the information. In the cap, the threads are not free to mate with the ones on the metal body of the master cylinder. Possibly in the molding of the cap, or in the overall design, but it feels out of place Despite not being a thread, it appears to be when installing. If it does not perform the intended function, then it performs fine.
