Product Description

Braided Clutch Lines from Galfer - Upgrade to Galfer stainless steel clutch lines to give your machine more power and feel! As a result of these lines, shifting will be improved greatly because there is almost no expansion under pressure so it requires less force to operate at its peak. As long as the clutch lever is held tightly, it does not feel squishy (unlike rubber hoses).

Three layers are present in the galfer clutch lines. A layer of PTFE type 62 Teflon is used inside the bag. A second layer of stainless steel braids is formed by 16 strands, braided into a twisted spiral. These kits come standard with polished brass fittings with matching bolts and an outer layer of plastic to protect the bike from scratches and keep unwanted humidity out of the line.

The clutch lines from Galler are guaranteed for life. The warranty will not be voided if the color fades, haze appears, or even if your bike is crashed. Get your new line by contacting Galfer directly, providing some information, and getting your new phone!

The item I got was measured when it arrived. As it runs from slave cylinder to master cylinder, it is only a little short, so this is not a problem when riding the bicycle.

This is the complete replacement of the stock line. The OEM line was very complex and was difficult to remove, but this one is a big improvement. I like this simpler version. In the triple tree of the 1400 intruder, the clutch line passes through a hole on the stock side. The line fits through that hole, but not this one. It is simply too wide to fit into the banjo. I opted to bypass it rather than drill a larger hole. It was a perfect elbow banjo fitting at the slave cylinder, but the stock photo doesn't have an Make sure it is pointing inward to the motorcycle when you install it, otherwise, you won't be able to remove the cover again.
