With this clutch line, there is a nut at the end. The Chevy has the flared end with the o-ring, which makes it a lot simpler It consists of a roll pin and a ring. Replacing the line and driving out the pin is as simple as removing the pin and reinstalling the line

This is not a good idea! It does not appear that the bends are even close (and yes, I had the right one for Every inch of the way, I had to bend and shape it. In comparison to my OEM factory lines, the lengths of my new lines are nothing like those of mine. Finally, after an hour of bending and forming it, I was able to achieve proper alignment of the master cylinder and slave cylinder, as well as line not rattling off all the pieces of metal on the floor. The work I did could just have been standard straight lines, but for the work I did, I had to bend them myself. I don't recommend this as an exact replacement and for the work I did, I could have just requested straight lines. Surely the clutch hydraulic line functions as such, but is it an OEM fit or even close to it? No, NO NO NO NO
More Chinese junk at a high price.
There is no indication that it is a direct replacement for the OEM part it replaces. In this case, that would NOT be a good thing. Despite the fact that there is one flexible segment, it seems impossible to get these long pieces out without tearing the top end of the motor apart. Even the long pieces of hard line are not sufficient to make these pieces We would a LOT prefer if this part had a connection that could be disconnected, so you could install the two halves separately, then join them together. I'm not confident the customizations that I made to get it installed will extend its life. I worry that scraping, adjusting, and refining may have diminished its efficiency. It would definitely be easier to just buy line and build one myself next time.
I found it to be a good fit for my 1989 Silverado with 350 engine. I had to modify the bends of the original part after comparing it to the new part It probably needed to be bended a little so that it would The installation of parts of this type is always a hassle. During a rebuild, replace this part BEFORE putting the intake on, or at least before putting the crossover pipe in place. The exhaust pipe can no longer fit through the gap between the firewall and the tranny if this part is replaced. The truck was an excellent match for this part.
I bought this exactly to match my '91 Chevy pickup. Having it routed in the original manner was a bit of a pain. However, nothing out of the ordinary! The original works just like it should. If the engine or transmission was out for maintenance or replacement, it would be much easier to replace.
After I bent it a few times, it worked as it should. I just assumed it was the same.
It was he who went.
I installed this line and had a slave cylinder, clutch kit, and flywheel installed as well. A line started leaking from where the hose was crimped to the metal line when bleeding the system. This is typical Dorman component. I bought a new one from the.
