The drivetrain of my father's 1968 Z/28 Camaro is being overhauled by me. Unfortunately, the car does not have the original 302 engine. In its place, we installed a 350 that I feel is a perfect match. I ordered this fork after a transmission and fitment issue resulting in a shot throwout bearing. My father replaced the fork as well, and I ordered this in the meantime. There is no way this fork can fit into the hand. The fork would hit the firewall of the car when being used if we installed it. According to other sites, this fork is supposed to fit "Chevy vehicles between 1967 and 1981". However, it appears that it will only fit vehicles from the latter half of that time period. This fork seems to be just fine in terms of its quality, so I won't give it a bad score. I won't dock this product because Amazon said this would fit my father's car and the helper was wrong. I have to give Amazon credit for it since I don't have to ding this product for something that they did. It is important to emphasize that this information comes from the research my father and I have done online. It is advised to take this with a pinch of salt and to do your own research to determine if this fits your vehicle or not. I will be returning the clutch fork from the site I found to my father's car, and my father plans to order one through another site that is advertised to be an accessory for 1967 to 1969 Chevys. The fork on that particular model is physically smaller than the one on Remember again, take opinions and others' reports with a grain of salt and conduct your own research before jumping to any conclusions. This fork will not fit and function properly in my father's 1968 Camaro, and I can say that with authority.
A 1979 Corvette came with this, so I bought it for it. Despite the fact that the listing said it was correct, the listing was incorrect. I had no problems with the return of Amazon's wrong part besides the inconvenience of receiving the wrong part.
They assume a clutch fork for a chevy monza looks like any other run of the mill GM clutch fork. br>This is incorrect! There is nothing they can do about the part, so they will still sell you their estimated price. At best, it's laziness on the part of the professional.
My 77 Corvette was not able to use this as it wasn't made to fit.
