I found this rubber boot to be very nice and it worked well for The metal plate is so thin that it is almost transparent In the packaging, I found all of my books bent. A thin section that is easy to straighten out, but be aware of its thinness. Furthermore, the listing states that the product is 11 inches wide this is very important. Six by eight. The 6x0 format. A diagonal arc of 5' to 10' It's the measurement of the packaging, not the shifter boot. A boot that small would be much easier to wear.

The rubber boot was installed in an old pickup that I inherited from my dad that had a gaping hole in the shifter area. By incorporating the metal ring into the design, the product was able to completely conform to the nuances of the floor. There was a rubber smell for a day or so, but it wore off very quickly.

This shifter is used in the transfer case

I used it for my little project truck and it worked well. It was so perfect for mounting the boot to the floor that the offset hole was even perfect. However, this was a trail rig with a leaky exhaust system so I wasn't surprised about weird smells.

There is some nice detail to it, but unfortunately the throw of my shifter is a bit beyond the rubber capacity, so my shifter is a bit torn

This is a pretty good buy for the money

Achieving the right look for my 55 GMC shifter area was a breeze with this part. If you don't have your own screws, then you better throw the screws away. There is a problem with the length, and the metal trim ring is also a bit thin, but overall, the product is satisfactory.
