Could you tell me whether this also works with other aftermarket shift knobs besides Sparcos?

Yeah, I guess so. There is no connection between this and the knob itself. It is only a boot. A lace links the top of this boot (closest to the knob) to the shaft of the shifter, so it can fit any knob regardless of size or shape. The main thing I noticed about the boot, however, is that it is quite a bit After I installed it and saw how fantastic it looked, I didn't mind it at all, but its size was quite large in comparison

You have done a wonderful job! Unlike most sport cars, mine was really long it was like really really long and I had to modify it. Despite how long my car's shifter was, I don't even have a short shifter in it. After cutting the old one to about 3 or 4 inches, I used an electric staple gun to staple it to the piece where the old one came from. The task sounds labor intensive, but if you know what you're doing and really want a custom designed car, then you have to do it. The product was exactly as described. I would certainly buy Anybody wanting to install this in their car can ask me since I drive a Tiburon GT.

There isn't much to say about this shift boot, other than it improves visibility and durability. You will not gain any extra performance when racing your car with it. This just needs to be shared with you all. As such, if you are someone who pays attention to detail, who is willing to spend a lot of money on customization, and are looking for a sporty look, the shift boot can provide you with that look. I also have a NISMO gear knob installed to make the dashboard look even nicer. I get alot of compliments about the appearance of the dashboard.

With a short shifter from TWM installed, I bought this for my 2008 Chevy Cobalt, and you would not believe how big it is! The fabric sags on every side. Here's a photo that will be available shortly.

I advise you not to Due to the scrunchy on the bottom, the boot is very difficult to insert over the boot base

Historically, Sparco makes quality products, but I was blown away by this one. I think the stitching on the colored S looks really nice. I'm not big on logos, but the stitched S stands out nicely. The only thing I wish it was smaller is that it is rather large. There's ample material on the boot itself, which is very long. The purchase was exactly what I was looking for. This is a highly recommended item and I would buy it.

I didn't expect it to be like this

It was great, right down to the blue threading, and the only problem was that it was so huge! My car is way too big for it. There is no room for my 06' Mitsubishi Eclipse. This item would be better described for a potential buyer if there were more details.
