The bolt that I used in my 2003 Pontiac Sunfire was torque to yield. Its torque value was 74 ft-lbs The torque value was then tightened an additional 75 degrees.
The length of the threaded part of the bolt is approximately 5 inches from the head to the end. There are 1 inch threads, but the gap between the threads and the flap is 4 inches. The width of six inches
This would be the case, in my opinion. A 2 was used to install it. A 2003 Sunfire is equipped with a 2L ecotec engine.

I was able to buy a 4L Ecotec for a reasonable price and it was delivered quickly. A GM original equipment replacement for a difficult-to-find model For 2 crankshaft bolts (at an affordable cost), find a reasonably priced option. This is a torque-tightened bolt on a 4 L Ecotec engine. (TTY) and must be replaced once the bolt is removed for service, such as to replace a timing chain or o oil seal. Trying to reload the page will fail When you torque the old bolt down, either the old one will fall off inside the crank, or it is too weak to secure the harmonic balancer, which could fly off at high engine speeds and damage everything under the car that it hits, or go out underneath the car and hit another vehicle. One day I was driving through a city street when the heavy balancer from a passing truck came crashing off and zoomed across three lanes of traffic, then hit and destroyed the left front wheel and tire of the small German car I was driving, but I was unharmed.
Providing me with the solution I needed at a price I could afford was exactly what I needed. It seems absurd to have to replace this bolt when it has been taken out, but I am willing to put in the work. Having to loan my stepdaughter money to fix her car when her pistons ate up her valves, I can only imagine what it was like for her. I saved a lot of money with this cheap bolt as my pockets are not It's because the local guys here in town want to live the lifestyle of fancy cars and the largest house in town that they are forced to charge outrageous prices for things like bolts like these. It is pleasing to use a quality product that costs less than $300.
Designed to fit a 2009 2. 0L Ecotec engine, this is the original crankshaft and harmonic balancer bolt. A person with experience working on automobile engines should be the only person to make this type of repair on the 2L Ecotec engine.
The gaskets on the bolt heads match in detail, the crank bolt head mark is the same, and the washer is thicker and forged. The packaging was excellent and the delivery service was excellent.
It's torque to yield, which is why I purchased this.
As close as possible to the original.
The fit is perfect. I recommend this product highly.
I liked it a lot.
