What if you want to use it on a 2015 ?

A modified clutch would be required to work with the secondary clutch on the RZR 900/1000. There are no issues with the threads, but the shaft is too long, it must be shortened by half an inch or so.

The XP 1000 DRIVEN clutch needs to be modified

A similar tool to Polaris tool 2871056, this tool requires modification in order to be used, and you need to cut off 5/8" of shaft in order to use it. As soon as the modification is made, the XP 900/1000 driven (secondary) clutch can be removed without any problems. It is made of (somewhat) hardened steel, and can be cut by hand (hacksaw, approximate size 24 x 8 x 8 cm). It takes about 20 minutes. In this case, you should use a cut-off saw/wheel in this case. To make it true and chamfer the tip, you might want to use a grinder. When modified, this tool works great for removing the DRIVEN (secondary) clutch, but it is not suitable for removing the drive (primary) clutch this is a different As part of the clutch installation process, Polaris recommends applying a thin film of grease to the shaft spines. A shaft that is sealed with this helps prevent rusting and allows for ease of removal in the future. You can find detailed information about Polaris torque specs in the Polaris shop manual.

In order to use it to pull the secondary on a Polaris ATV, you will need to cut it in half, so I simply cut off that much and it worked perfectly. Many Polaris ATVs are missing a secondary clutch, which should slide right off of the splines, but rust builds up when it is done.
