The tool is overpriced and of poor quality

In my opinion, the tool was not as good as it could have been for the price. There is a problem with the tool's o rings, which are too large and make spinning the tool difficult. My recommendation would not be to purchase this software, it's way too expensive for what you do The product did not seem to work properly for me, so I would not recommend it.

It runs on the Gen V 5 platform

I don't understand the third paragraph. Having used this rear main seal alignment tool on a Generation IV-5, I can attest that it handles the job. The 3-07 silverado and the Gen V5 are in the shop. There are 3 l83 18 Sierras. Therefore it works with the Gen V Lt engines as well.
