My 2006 Dyna seemed to like it. Breathing problems caused the old one to leak and cause the brake light not to function. As a result, the issue was resolved.
It did not trigger the tail-lights when I applied the rear brake You can see it clearly. As soon as I switched to this, I had no problems. I was able to fix my problem, and the cost was reasonable.
According to Amazon, it fits The fitment guide on Amazon does not apply to my 2008 FXSTC as stated by Amazon, but all other retailers like Harley Davidson, Surdyke, JPCycles, Dennis Kirk, etc. confirm this does fit. The answer is yes! We were very pleased with how it fit and operated.
It is a poor engineering by Harley-Davidson that causes this part to fail so frequently that it has to be replaced as often as possible good to be able to get them online at a good price as they have closed down a lot of dealers.
Items stop working less than a year after they were purchased. I need to turn off my brake light while riding my motorcycle because it doesn't turn off. It's recommended that you purchase OEM replacement since the original equipment lasted for over 12 years before it needed to be replaced.
