The installation process is simple
5/5

I was almost surprised at how easy it was to replace the old unit. To begin with, the warning light problem with the traction control system was solved. I found the break switch under the dash once I got my head under the dashboard. Give the switch a twist and it will come out. Unplug the electrical connector and the switch will come out. Lined up the replacement and pushed it into place the same way the old one was removed. It takes one more twist to lock it in, then plug it in so it's ready to go. In fact, I used a small screwdriver to break the latch on the connector, you could also use There is no doubt the OEM part will last longer than the aftermarket part, and it is worth the extra money. A spare Nut type assembly was included as part of the OEM package if the original was damaged.

It can be easily replaced
5/5

The solution worked perfectly. You just need to crawl under the dash, take the connector out, turn the switch a quarter turn left, and it comes off. If the gap needs to be adjusted, you may need a feeler gauge to reinstall. A 2006 Scion tC, which suffered from intermittent failure to shift out of gear, was fitted with the module.

This OEM switch is the way to go
5/5

A little difficult to install if you have large hands, but after you get it in it works great. I tried an aftermarket switch, but it didn't last. This will fix your issues if your break switch has failed and is preventing the car from starting. Shipping was fast and the price was good as well.

Does the job
5/5

There is a Rav4 from 2008. A suitable package was included with the part. Delivery was on time. For the courier to deliver it to me in Jamaica, I had to wait another week. I installed it yesterday on my mother's 2008 Rav 4 and it worked perfectly.

It is easy to set up and works perfectly

It's possible that your 4runner will not come out of park because of an issue you're experiencing. It is most likely this part that is at fault. I also had issues with my brake light and my dash light, so this fix got the job done. Easy.

A problem with warning lamps coming on periodically has been fixed
5/5

As a result of online forums, I became convinced that a bad Stop Lamp Switch is the most likely and cheapest fix for having all the ABS and Traction Control related warning symbols on my 4runner flash (occasionally, but more frequently as time passes). How to install Disconnect and remove the old one (located under the 2) Insert the new one by plugging and twisting it in. You won't have to worry about warning lights anymore!.

It won't shift in a Toyota 4Runner if the brake lights are out
5/5

I would not be able to shift into gear with my 2006 Toyota 4Runner. We learned the problem was a result of intermittent brake light operation. The problem has completely been resolved after replacing this switch. This is a highly recommended read! This is *br/*.
