Yeah, I am pretty sure that My 2009 model fit it - it is about the same model as mine
Although I'm unsure of the exact fit, it should work fine for Cub Cadit and should be relatively easy to install. It costs about half as much at the lawn parts store. The Tony Grant Foundation

The device seems to work fine, and has the exact same features as the original. I was able to plug it into my Cub Cadet model without any problems. It was my intention to write it as soon as I completed the installation so that every knuckle scrape, skin cut, and swearing episode was still fresh in my mind. In total, there are four plastic tabs on the switch assembly - there are two on each side. It is easy to remove. The device has two cable sets that plug in. Unplug those two wire harnesses after you have taken out the key assembly. Specifically designed to fit the OEM key switch, they are an exact replacement. The job only takes a few minutes! With the exception of In order to reach the switch, my hand was too big to fit inside the dashboard assembly. The flashlight gives you a clear view of the tabs, and you can even touch them, but you can't get your hand into position to push them. This might happen. You may be able to use a long screwdriver to push on them. I recommend giving it a shot since it might work. It has become impossible to access the switch assembly due to the steel frame that supports the gas tank. It is not designed in this way for any good reason. It is believed that engineers who have never touched a tool in their hands have a special place in the afterlife, and the person who designed this piece of kit should sit in the front row of that afterlife. A metal frame attached to the tractor is held in place by four screws. With just about every tool available to man, I have been able to buy just about every tool. And with a socket wrench with an extension you can remove three of them with ease, but the remaining four screws will require some effort to remove. It is almost impossible to remove the screw on the lower driver side because it has been positioned perfectly so that it is blocked by the oil fill tube. From short to long, I tried every extension I had at my disposal. My only hope was to get in there with a ratchet wrench. A pair of pliers worked for me. Neither the screw nor its washer could be accessed. The thought that a humanoid will put a screw there when there were so many other places where it could have been placed is inexplicable. This feat could only have been accomplished by someone who had never used their hands or held a wrench. After having removed the other three screws, I bent the metal structure by grasping onto the metal. As soon as I had pulled it out enough to get my hand inside the dashboard, replacing it was simple and effortless. After another twenty minutes of bending the metal into place, I was able to put the screws back in, but now I was frustrated. The screws were more than enough to hold the frame in place. The bottom line is that Being stunned by the stupendous stupidity of the design of a tractor produced by what used to be one of the most revered and most successful American corporations of all time, i. e. A source of water had apparently gotten inside the keyhole while the key was inserted, causing rust on the key and its This is not the kind of machine that would be able to handle rain well.
I have found it to work perfectly with my Cub Cadet LT-E There were 1045. I was able to replace the old component with the new in just a few minutes. Plug in the wires to the new part, and then pop the old one back in. Unplug the old one, and make sure the wires are connected to the new part. As I used to use my old switch, this key works too. Since my old one did not work in reverse mode, I replaced the part. Things are working great now, no problems at all!.
On my Craftsman LT 2000, 20 - 2010, this one has a different part number than the one it calls for There was a 30 dollar difference, so I think that the cross reference wasn't updated. Since I could only get the mower to mow in reverse when it wanted, I disconnected the single wire at the reverse switch in order to blow My key looks similar to the one that came with the mower, so it must be the right switch/module. It's good to work with Stens as a source of aftermarket parts.
My old key worked perfectly with it, and it was very easy to install. You should note Prior to starting the engine, make sure the PTO is off.
As the exact replacement for my Cub Cadet XT2, I am extremely satisfied with it.
I felt as thought I had spent a lot of money on a product that worked as well as the original.
same, used the same key, good fit and worked as it should.
The direct replacement performed exceptionally well. The installation takes less than five minutes. 4 plastic ears will need to be compressed under the hood behind the Turn off ignition switch and pull out the key You can use your old key in this new ignition switch without any problem. The tractor I use is a 2007 Cub Cadet SLT 1550.
