My 06 Scion xb's headlights wouldn't turn on except in high beam, so this didn't work. The problem was solved when I purchased an OEM from the dealer. The tree is making an attempt.
In my Toyota Corolla, it looks identical to the original. This fixes a problem with 2003 Corollas where the headlight switch will turn on by itself in extremely cold temperatures, resulting in a dead battery the next morning. It takes about ten minutes to replace, and all you need is a Philips screwdriver and three screws to remove the panels near the steering wheel.
To turn on and off my headlights, the switch would turn on at night, leaving me with a dead battery in the morning. br>Taillights would also not light up. br>Now it works, but only on high beam.
This was installed in a Toyota Echo from 2003. It functions flawlessly and was precisely what was required to be replaced. It's been two months since I installed it, and it's still going strong.
It was INCREDIBLY EFFECTIVE.
It fit my 06 XB perfectly. simple to set up.
