This was purchased for my son's truck because his lights appeared to be stuck on at times, causing his battery to drain. This module was replaced, and the problem was resolved. It's easy to replace this switch box. Simply remove the old one and unplug it, then replace it with the new one and snap it into the dash slot.
Above all, remember this: It performs as expected (unlike the switch I replaced it with). br>br>My only criticism (take it with a grain of salt; I'm picky) is that the knobs have a "cheap" feel to them. The dimmer knob appears to be wobbly because it is slightly off center. In terms of longevity, I'll update this review later (pun intended).
It appears that the function has been completely restored.
Everything is in order. This was the ideal replacement for the OEM switch wheel, which had worn out.
Installed on my 2006 Silverado with no issues and it functions as it should.
