Removing/replacing transmission fluid is necessary if you see it. The fit is excellent and exact. A leak in the old sensor caused DTC code P0780 and a multitude of problems as a result. There is no square around shift position 1. As well, the backup camera turns on in shift position 1 as well as in reverse (it should only turn on in reverse). There is a panic system (the horn goes off, and sometimes the lights go on The sensor was removed and replaced, and the connection was thoroughly cleaned. I no longer have any problems.

I had an old one on my '06 Dodge 2500 that leaked auto trans fluid. The leak has been resolved by replacing it with this one. It works as expected and is easy to replace. Be sure to keep a gallon of auto trans fluid on hand in case the level drops.

The seller initially told me it was out of warranty, however Mopar parts have a 2 year warranty. Then he said I should go to Mopar itself, and will not honor warranty, so be very careful.
