It is compatible with my 2020 2. 0 non- I believe the trunk lids on the Sport and the Accord are the same, and it's a returnable item if necessary.
Yes. It was a perfect fit for my Honda Accord EXL from 2018. To install it, all you have to do is cut a slot in the trunk liner. I like that I don't have to use my hands to close the trunk any longer.

I thought it was fantastic. I'm the type of person who makes sure that my car is in tip-top shape. There are no scratches, fingerprints, or smudges on the mirror. Something along the lines of a paint finish. It took some time for me to get used to being able to close my trunk without having to put my hand on the lid and ruin a freshly washed car. br>br>When I bought my 2019 Accord, I assumed that Honda would still include this small handle. Nope. Fortunately, you can still purchase one of these items (albeit at an exorbitant price for what is essentially a small piece of cheap plastic). The attachment points for this are present on all 2018, 2019, and 2020 Accords (and most likely beyond 2020 as well). br>br>All you have to do is remove two of the trunklid liner clips, attach the trunk handle, and use a box cutter to cut a small opening. For a few dollars, you can get something Honda should have included as standard. br>br>Despite being a small piece of cheap plastic, it feels sturdy and well-made. when it's done, attach it.
On my 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L, I installed this interior trunk handle. The only thing you'll need is a box. to cut a slit in the trunk with a knife- For the handle to pass through, there is a lid liner. The trunk lid handle (which snaps into place) does not require any tools to install. br>br>This Amazon seller delivered quickly.
The only disadvantage is that once the handle clip is snapped into place, removing the handle is nearly impossible. br>br>Originally, I planned to feed the handle through a single slit in the carpet lining, but I ended up cutting out a roughly 4" x 4" square section for the handle.
Honda should have included this as standard equipment on the new Accords, as it is a nice piece that the OEM should have installed when building the 2018 Accord. On my 2018 Accord, it took me about 5 minutes to install, including cutting the trunk liner to make room for it. Typical Honda OEM quality, low cost, quick delivery, and simple installation. Yes, you can purchase it directly from your local dealer for a lower price. Is saving $5 really worth an hour or more of your time driving there, standing in line at the parts counter, and so on? I say no; just buy it here and be done with it; you won't be sorry.
When I close the trunk, I use it. Because the metal has cutouts, this simply snaps into place. A trunk lid liner is installed in the trunk of my Touring Model. Removed a couple of plastic clips holding the liner in place, cut a slit in the liner for the handle to protrude through, snapped this into the metal without using any tools, reinstalled the clips, and the job was completed in about ten minutes. This feature is standard on some Acura vehicles that are built on the same platform as the Accord.
Because the mounting holes are already present, all you have to do is remove two pins to release the trunk lining, snap in the handle, and cut a small slit in the liner for the handle to pass through. It took me less than 5 minutes to set up.
It was a perfect fit for my 2019 Honda Accord Sport. It takes 1 minute to set up. Depending on whether the carpeted liner is removed or not, it will take 5 minutes.
