As well, I had the same issue. My o-ring got smeared when I re-used it I rang, all looked good, my air conditioner charged up, but when I came back a day later, hot air was all I got. My local auto store was selling various oil filters, so I bought a package they offered An ring. This was the smallest size I could find, and it fit my needs well. There is one caveat, you have to change the schrader valve that came from the factory. It started leaking because it was unused. Wishing you the best of luck.

As expected, this did not come with a new O ring, but I bumped the rating from 3 stars to 4 because it fit snuggly with the old O ring and I had to crank up the air conditioning in my truck because the AC was freezing! I had an intermittent compressor/warm air issue until I installed the 03 Avalanche.
The old O ring is removed with a pair of Chanel locks. It is wiped with oil and put back in place followed by the new O ring. You can fix it by tightening it down and plugging All leaks related to Bam have been fixed. Stopping the loss of expensive refrigerant is well worth the money.
Nevertheless, the article does not mention one is included. This switch, however, is not a logical replacement as others have stated. Remove it from the wall. Remove it from the screw. Putting the proper lube on the old "O" ring would help. Make sure that the new switch is tight (a wrench may be necessary but not essential). Turn the power on. Plug the wires in. It only takes 30 seconds to complete. I tested it, and it works!.

I had to constantly turn my AC on and off. The program didn't work once it was installed. The auto part store had another one for sale, so I purchased it. A few minutes later, the AC kicked back on again.
