All the reviews that claim that this bag cannot hold anything other than a water bottle are true. It can be repaired, though, if you put in a little extra effort. The following is the procedure I followed. It was easy to hole saw it using a hole saw that was comparable to the diameter of the outer We hot glued some sand paper to the outside of it, reamed the bejeezus out of the foam piece where the bottle will fit, and then glued it to the outside of the foam piece. After about an hour of work, I managed to create something that can accommodate a decent size insulated cup within it while not preventing it from touching the hard plastic outside. How did I come to be in this situation? There are a lot of cups out there that cost $ a lot of money but have some frustrating flaws, so I think it was worth the effort. I have been searching for years for the perfect cup holder for my pony, and this one came pretty close right out of the box. If you give it a little love, then it'll make the grade. As well as smoothing down the finish, I applied some spray-on rubber to make it match my bike a little better.
I would say that the design fits well for it to be cookie-cutter. The gaps in the table should be smaller and there should be As well, I find it hard to open the side covers while riding (I have short fingers). One fourth inch to go You need a cup holder of about 3/8" in diameter to fit your cup. Perhaps it would have been better to have the cup holder angled (oval hole), for when the cup holder is mounted on the bike (tank runs downhill to the back) the cup would stay My choice of black over chrome is pleasing to the eye, and I am glad I chose it. In general, I was neither overly happy nor disappointed with what I received compared to what I paid for.
The cup is perfectly sized and fits the coffee cup perfectly. VERY cool product that matches my bike and looks like it should have been part of it.
This is the kind of packing I would have done to go on a 9-day bike trip, and I As the temperatures were in the high 80's, having a bottle of water nearby was essential. I don't like the size of the cup holder- Although it's a bit small, I had a 24oz sport bottle that fit nicely. I only had to spend a few minutes installing this program.
I like the way this turned out. The installation process is straightforward.
It is necessary to make the cup holder There is only enough bottle space in it to hold 10 to 12 ounces. There is a little disappointment that it will not hold a standard.
This is a good-looking product that works well.
A good quality product.
