No, this was only applicable to GM vehicles.
This is for vehicles that have an accumulator with a built-in check valve. Is it possible that yours doesn't have a built-in check valve? Check the part number on yours with the one at your local auto parts store to see if they're the same.

This was a perfect replacement for the low pressure switch on my 2007 GMC Sierra NB (not classic), so I'm not sure if it will work for the classic. There's a Schrader valve underneath it so you can replace it without losing your freon charge. It does not include an o ring. "However, I had not anticipated it" You'll need a new one to replace the one that was previously installed; it fit perfectly in its new location and is performing admirably. I'm back to having cold air conditioning. I only replaced it because I was replacing the accumulator to which it was connected. It appears that the product has solved the issue. Extremely fast shipping! The o ring was the only issue. I'm not sure if a new one was supposed to come with it, but there was a small slit in the package where it could have escaped. The old o ring, fortunately, appears to be functional.
The reading indicated that it would fit the truck we needed it for, but it turns out that it does not.
It was simple to install, and I changed the pigtail wiring at the same time because some YouTube videos suggested the wiring could be shorted, so I did both. The A/C was not working before I changed the filters, but it now works perfectly, so I would recommend trying this option first before spending a lot of money on repairs.
This switch solved my problem and looks and functions identically to the original.
All of my problems appear to have been solved by the perfect fit.
