On a 1997 1500, there are three actuators. A thermometer can be found on the floor near the vent for the heater. You will find an ash tray on the left. There is a glove box behind and to the side of it.
Actuators on an air conditioner are different than those on a furnace.
It's for the manual controls for the air conditioner. It was the 15th of September In this case, it is 72971 for auto Besides this motor actuator, there are a few doors and valve operators that may need replacing, so if you're in there, you may want to check them out. Depending on what the problem is, there may be several possible solutions.
Another one handles just the temp, and a third one handles all the other stuff.

As you can see, this part is directly opposite of the correct part.
1. The product comes in a "genuine GM" box, even though it is not a genuine AC Delco product. The second paragraph. The actuator for the temperature blend door is not this one. As can be seen from the picture, it has a different pinout. To make a long story short, you install this part and it doesn't work. This is not acceptable to me.
ACDELCO IS NOT AT ALL. I received the wrong number*apart from the part it wasn't even from The company sent me a Korean brand made by Woory, which I had never heard of prior to receiving this package.
On my 99 Tahoe, I used it on the vent control. We had control problems. The controls got stuck on defrost. It took us about 10 minutes to replace them. During operations, there is no noise or disruption. Having cold air coming out of my vents and being able to adjust its position to any position I want does not disappoint me. I always buy original brand when I can to ensure it lasts another 15 years.
Added a new actuator to my '96 GMC Yukon's temperature and blend door. There were no differences in quality between the original and this version. I love the way it works. There are cheaper aftermarket options available, but I would definitely consider purchasing this one again.
