It is simple to put together. This replacement part matched the original part EXACTLY. The new metal brackets looked great and were a breeze to put together. If you're unsure whether you can handle it on your own, don't. As long as you know how to remove a tire, anyone can do it. When I stretched my ABS line to replace my ball joint, I had to replace this. My dash lit up with the ABS light. The light turned off and I was good to go after I installed this part and drove for about 30 seconds.
