As I switched over to led headlights on my 1997 Toyota Prado, I got this as well. It works great. Apparently Toyota has a slightly backwards wiring system for their headlights. Thanks, Brett.
You can do this only if your 4Runner includes an H4 plug, otherwise you can just cut the plugs on your harness and the one on this one and solder them together to ensure
We need to make a change. See if you can find it on forums, I'd like to do the same
In my opinion, it is probably about the size of the speaker wire or slightly larger

I barely have enough wire to reach my other headlight with the wiring harness. When you ground a module without self-tapping screws, or when you mount it without just pulling your battery and drilling with your hand, it can be The grounding tabs on these modules could have been more robust, and they could have been better designed. A Jeep XJ just barely works with this, but it's on the cheap and it works. The cable can be connected to your battery with just a little room left over, but if it was a rear battery on Wrangler, you'd need shrink wrap and extra cables so you can reach the battery. If they had included a small screw, 1 foot of grounding wire, lock washer, and nut, it would give you more options when it comes to where to run your ground wire and mount the A little bit of a job is done, but not much. It would have been better to add nuts bolts or grounding wire, or to just supply self taping screws for mounting the module, for $2 more. There is enough power to power the LED's, however, you will need to purchase some grounding wires and nuts & bolts for what is not included. I'm saving money!.
A ceramic must have been dropped because it is cracked and falling apart. 2) The relay fixed the issue with a dim light, but it also introduced another problem. It is not possible to turn off high beams once they are turned on unless you turn them off and back on again. 3) Wiring was too short to reach the other headlight without adding an extra couple of feet of wire. This would make it too short and unsecure, hanging over open space. 1989 Chevrolet K1500 4x4 Cheyenne, Made in Canada.
It's worth putting on just so you don't have to later when your vehicle transitions from an older sealed beam to an It's very easy to hook up. To run the old wiring harness with the front grill and a few other parts, the front grill had to be taken apart. However, it is easy to connect. There weren't enough wire harnesses for any play, which was the only thing I didn't like. It could be improved by adding a few more inches of wire and by making it a little longer so it can stretch across bigger vehicles.
Over the radiator, this wiring harness is installed. The videos that I saw first indicated that it went underneath the radiator and to the side, but no, it went over and slightly behind the radiator (I did not look at the instructions). When I replaced both headlights (halogen), I also replaced the battery. There needs to be a 6-inch extension of the protective plastic sleeve. There is a lot of tension in the ceramic sockets. It would be great if the kit came with a protective dust cap for the old socket that has no use any more. There is nothing to worry about! This harness works perfectly! Never were the head lights as bright as they are now. There is no longer a burning smell from wires. I had already replaced the light switch three times, and the one that was being replaced was close to failure as well. The fix provided here is a good workaround.
For the first time, I will be able to see at night now that I have the most power going to my new headlights. does just that, it allows you to power your headlights directly from your battery without having to use the Jeep's outdated wiring and switches that have been in place for 30+ years. Using the existing headlight switch to wire up power for the relay, and the same plug for connecting to the headlights as my factory one, they hooked it up inline. The relay should be connected to a battery and to the all there is to.
I installed these on my son's 1997 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. They fit like a glove. The difference in brightness between these and the stock sealed beams is unbelievable. These are a must-have. They don't look the best, but they definitely deliver in terms of.
It is as simple as mounting the relays, connecting a power lead to the fused plug (included) and plugging into the existing wiring. It can't be spliced, it can't be cut. When you need to run high wattage devices, ceramic ends are the way to go. This is an easy to install product. The 1983 CJ7 was equipped with this.
