I had a 2003 7 that had this solenoid that wasn't working. Powerstroke 3 - a new engine design. Unlike other solenoids, this one has a grounded terminal. There is a possibility that I have In spite of this, the fact that this solenoid does not have isolation bushings in its base makes me think otherwise.
This version only requires a 12v to the smallest terminal to energize. The three-phase power supply 3 supplies 12V to the two A ground signal is sent by the PCM to one of the Glow plug terminals when the PCM calls for the Glow plugs. Upon this installation, the glowplugs started to operate as soon as I turned on the ignition. As a result, the solenoid remained stuck in the closed position, which was constantly running the glowplugs. When I turned the key off, the truck continued to run. It was necessary for me to pull the fuel pump fuse in order to shut down As a result of further investigation, the solenoid connected 12 volts to the two smaller terminals when it was closed. This, in turn, put money back into the PCM, allowing it to.

Neither the 2001 nor the 2000 Powerstrokes work

The 2000 F250 does not work with version 7 of the software. The relay continues to operate even after the key has been turned off, resulting in battery drain and damage.
