Standard Motor Products RY-1556 Relay

The mileage on this engine is 240782 miles. A firmware error code of P0671 has been detected. As soon as I started the truck, the light went back on. I cleared the code a couple of times. Upon checking the batteries and wire harness for shorts, I was able to find none, so I purchased this relay from Amazon. Within a few days, the glow plug relay arrived and I had it swapped in 15 minutes on the drive way using a 10 mm socket, 3 in extension and a ratchet once I removed two bolts holding As soon as I reset the engine light, I had solved the problem. Since the relay was replaced and the engine light isn't on, I've covered about 350 miles on the truck. Now that the glow plugs are cycling again, everything is working as it should. The replacement relay is the perfect replacement port, having no noticeable differences from the original OEM relay that I could see and working just fine.
