The Saturn Ion base model I own was manufactured in 2004. Pushing the rear defogger button does not defrost the rear window, even though the light comes on. Is the new relay going to correct the problem?

In my 2007 Impala, I also experienced the same problem. The problem was not resolved after I replaced the relay. You can test the relay at some auto stores

Usually you need to lift the lid of the box to get to them and all of them are the same, so you have to change them all of the time just like a bulb but you don't have to replace all of them the same way every time.
